Why pH is so important...
The majority of cleaners have a pH of 4.5-5.5 which is slightly acidic. They aren't pleasant on the eyes and not favourable for the adhesive bonding to the natural lash. At this pH level the hair cuticle is tightly sealed giving it a "slippery" feel...Not ideal for our adhesives!!
When we introduce the neutral pH level of 7-7.2 great things happen to our lashes!! It balances the lash cuticle, relaxing and normalizing them, making them ready for that great adhesion bond between the natural lash and the extension that all lash artists are after!
Neutral pH is safe for the skin and won't cause discomfort to the eyes (our tears are the same pH)
